Born and raised in Vancouver BC, Sarah is an actor, creator, and director who received her BFA in Acting from the University of British Columbia. Her training also includes the Canadian National Voice Intensive, the Manitoulin Conservatory for Creation and Performance (studying clown, bouffon, and physical theatre), and 15 years experience working with Shakespeare and other classic texts. She has worked as Assistant Director on Facts (United Players) and Over the River and Through the Woods (Metro Theatre). Most recently she directed Dog Sees God at CBC Studios (I Hate That Collective). She works as an Artistic Associate with Awkward Stage Productions and was both co-creator and director of their 2017 award-winning Fringe production, Carry On: A Musical. Other credits include associate producer for Gutenberg: The Musical, and producer on Cry Baby: The Musical and Milk Milk Lemonade (Awkward Stage Productions).
